There's a time of the day. A place you can stay. A place where the lonely runs dry. Where cities kills angels, turn there brain's into fables, take their truths and sell them up as a lie.

So I traveled past the sun, bought some love and sold a gun, shot down with what they all give away. Shots like the sound of a scream, in the middle of a dream, or that heavy head at the end of a day.

And when the moon comes around, Ill be startin' to drown, in the middle of the road where I lay. oh, sweet pain of mine, we've spent so much time, watchin' every word that we say. And I dont need nobody, don't need no money, just get me through the day. Cause when the night comes around... I can dream I didn't throw it away.

For a while we can stay, in the shade we will lay, that place where the lonely run dry. Where lovers run free, underneath the trees, with hearts like forest fires.
