Theodore the Rabbit, was born with much to prove. Deep down underneath the hill, back in 1942. Not much for countin' carrots, well his brother had all the friends. Oh, me, oh my, a lonely sigh. There's no one to depend.
So he left there for the city, underneath the same bright star. Not much for huffin' gasoline, or the smell of an angry car. So he left there for the mountains, and dug himself a hole. Oh, poor fool, don't ya know. There's, no where to go.
Don't push him too far. Cause he just might blow.
Don't open up your letters, now.
Cause you just don't ever know.
I said now, oh! You better run, run, run!
Cause Theodore's day's already come.
Oh, I know it's true.
You best look out friend, he's comin' there for you.
So he fashioned himself explosives, and sent them all by mail.
Theodore the rabbit, knew his plan would never fail.
So, one, by one. They all hit the ground.
Theodore was tired of these tractors in this town.
So he built some bigger bombs, and he sent them all around.
No one knew who to blame, until his brother came to town.
So they built themselves an army, and he told them where he lived.
That's the day that Theodore, got swallowed up by pigs, oh!
Don't push him too far. Cause he just might blow.
Don't open up your letters, now.
Cause you just don't ever know.
I said now, oh! You better run, run, run!
Cause Theodore's day's already come.
Oh, I know it's true.
You best look out friend, he's comin' there for you.
So the next time that you finish, your bowl of carrot stew.
Remember that it could have been, a rabbit just like you.
